Teaching career?

Overheard my P6 kid telling the counter-lady today at the tuition center:

"I love math tuition because of three reasons: 1) I like my teacher 2) I like the lessons 3) I like math!"

So happy because in the past year of teaching at the center, it's been my goal, no matter how busy I was in the week, to bring these to the children: Love for math, love for tuition lessons and solid math facts.

And so, I had always tried to incorporate fun and games into my lessons because I believe that rote learning gets children nowhere and fun enforces learning by at least 3 folds.

Satisfaction when the kids blossom is definitely there but teaching career in future? Still nah for now. Let's see how I fare at auditing first. Haha. But its a good balance to face cheery, worries-free children at the end of a week of sullen workingclassmen.
