CJ077, and calefares.
The year has come and gone, sooner than what we had expected.
The "one year of torture", or what we address as Project Work ended abruptly some few months ago, in a swirl of emotions.
What we will take tomorrow, is just a mere grade that we can include in our leaving cert.
But what we took from the whole year-long projectwork experience is invaluable knowledge and enrichment.
I can still remember every single detail of our project work journey.
Right from the beginning preliminary ideas, where we naively thought that our overly idealistic ideas were gonna work, to the GPP, where we came out with crap like social clubs and shampoo poisoning.
And then the time where we, with Jane's help, tried to insert lyrics into our Fire Safety Song.
And the other time where we, with Jane and Kityee's help, tried to sing and record our song.
We had a hell of a good time during them both.
The times where we had to film videos, the times where we TRIED to film videos, the times where we TRIED TO GET EVERYONE DOWN to film videos, the times where I had to edit millions of videos, then feeling so helplessly lost when the vids were damaged.
The nights when I had to hog the com for PW stuffs, much to my siblings' protests.
The Saturdays that were cruelly snatched away by PW meetings, much to my parents' protests.
I still vividly remember that time when I was in Dad's car with JaneOng, when I came out with our project title "The Unexpected Guest".
And the time when there was a horridly mad rush for WR submission and everything just went haywired.
Our PW meetings almost always managed to turn into funfilled outings, and hence forging the most valuable and strongest friendships.
And the bittersweet emotions on the day of our OP, when everything's gonna end.
The joy, laughter, warmth, anger, frustration, anxiety, fear, dejection, confusion, helplessness, tears, gratefulness, regret, thankfulness, happiness... how can we ever forget them?
At first, we were all scolding the "damned person who came up with PW", but after it ended, we all know it was an experience that nothing else could ever teach us.
And so, we take with us tomorrow not only a grade, but also the invaluable experiences and be thankful for the tough friendships forged.
"The Unexpected Guest", CJ077 and Jane Ong who can already be our member, here's to you.
