Yup, extremely belated but summer is here! 3 months of awesomeness (I've already begun soaking in them awesomeness) and more to follow!
And after a quite difficult 4-day window I'm happier than ever! Let's hope that this following summer looks, feel and will become the literal meaning of summer.
What I've been up to. Hmmm.
Looking for some cash inflow outlets to fund my deficit-seeking spending habits. Plus this onset of BIG days like mother's day and sis' birthday and the upcoming mommy's birthday is nicely drawing a big hole in my pocket.
Been trying out for this oddball of a job of creating worksheets for this kovan tuition centre. Currently working on Sec 3 Physics Waves. They don't pay a lot for it but omfrigging the person I correspond with is just mean. He/she is like damn strict down to the numbering and spacing and number of questions and blah! I can't believe it. What does it matter to label the questions as "structured questions" and not "additional questions"? Not like the kids will really adhere to which are for in-class work and which are extras. I mean if you get a paper from the tuition centre and you're a sec 3 kid, you do everything right? Super inflexible. :< And I nicely handwritten out my answers so they can see my nicely drawn waves but they said they want type-written ones. Grrrrpffffft.
Oh my I just nagged like a naggy old hag for a paragraph.
Yup, so now after I have slogged my guts out and crack my nut head trying to come up with 21 tough questions without any references, I don't get any recognition or thanks, just critiques about the formatting and that my notes are too sparse. Well if my notes are dense, what the hell is the textbook for. Waves is only a 8 or 10-paged chapter. And as we all know most waves questions have diagrams and I can't copy because apparently they are paying for originality, I've to draw all my waves on Word. Hahaha pro right I know but it takes time. I'd rather sit in an office reception desk for 3 hours and get the same pay.
But this thinking isn't gonna get me anywhere so I should man up and finish at least the first assignment. And their stringent omg requirements.
Okay sorry for that horrible rant sometimes ranting just gets in my head hehehe.
Went shoooooping with psbff CT to City Plaza for some budget barbie-ing and got some loot! And I'm despaired to say that I saw a really really really cute pair of shorts but they ran out of sizes! :(
Then come sis' exam on Thursday. Since it's her birthday and its at freaking Expo (why must all her papers be in expo what about the people who live at woodlands?), mommy lil' bro and me SENT HER ALL THE WAY THERE, shopped at changi city point, AND SENT HER ALL THE WAY BACK. Omg so nice right. Hahahaha. And I've learnt a good lesson. Trust only google maps. Mommy in the back claims that she knows the way but took us all the way into changi business park in a bid to find the carpark of the mall. :/
So I've been going to the east many times these past weeks (including chalet last week and sending/picking papa from the airport!) and all the travelling is killing the petrol! Thank goodness mommy and papa are still footing the bill (shhh don't remind them) if not I'll go dead broke. Or just stop driving altogether. Val cannot afford. :(
And I've been skating with my AIS groupmates on tuesday! Totally caught a chill that night and retired early, feeling as sick as a sick person.
Okay, gonna help my sis mark P6 compos of her tuition class now that she is mugging hard for the last few mugging days in her academic life. Oh how I envy her. :)
