How good it feels to be home again!

But the last week of being away from home was just awesome. Early Tuesday, the 4th of Dec, we hauled our luggages from the house we've been living in, said our teary goodbyes and set off for New York. Took a 3 hr bus ride from Queretaro to Mexico City's international airport and another 5 hr plane ride to JFK airport.

Reach New York at 9pm and cabbed to our hotel. The windows in the cab were down and when the night air blew on my face, I was thinking that its not that cold after all. Well, when I checked afterwards, it was only 13 degC and not the 3 deg I thought.

Set off to Jersey Gardens Outlet Mall the next day and OMG IT'S LIKE MY HAPPIEST DAY IN THE ENTIRE VACATION. Really got good deals at A&F, Aeropostale, GAP, H&M, F21, Hollister, Old Navy, Banana Republic, American Eagle, Urban Outfitters, Victoria's Secret and so so many more omgggg. Super super good deals because they were clearing summer stock! Haha definitely a luckiest girl alive moment.

Then we had to wait in the cold for our 7pm shuttle bus back to Manhattan. Okay this was terrible. My friends and I almost died because it was literally waiting in the cold. I feel like I'm in my home's freezer part of the refrigerator. Seriously the cold got to the tip of my fingers and toes and I wanna faint and die no kidding. Luckily my friends were there and by suffering tgt, it isn't that bad. Hahaha I sound evil but the company takes away some of your pain at times!

Thursday was all about a walk in Central Park at 0 deg, an idea at which we abandoned soon after, and lunch at Shake Shack! Shopping again and soon we had to head back. :(

Said our goodbyes to Ayako, a friend turned sister to us who will always be treasured even when she returns to her world in Japan. She's the sweetest person I've ever met and I can't believe she's even telling us that she thought we are kind people because I have never seen a soul kinder than her.

Wheeled our crazy luggages and caught sight of our first image of home - SIA's check-in counter. :D It's quite an experience to see home again after 20 weeks. Checked in and all, boarded and commenced our 20hr flight home. Saw two sunrises because we were travelling forward across time zones. Actually spent our "Friday afternoon" at Frankfurt airport, our stopover.

Finally touched down at Changi Sunday morning 7am. First surprise I got was seeing Joel! Cause the few days before I repeatedly told him not to come since my entire family will be here to take me out for breakfast and there won't be space in our car blah blah and he agreed... but he came anyway. Hahaha! So we squeezed in the car and all of us went to Ghim Moh for breakfast. Of course I got the prawn kuay teow and dou nai I've been craving for the past few months lol and he came over while I unwrapped all my presents for everyone! Dinner with everyone again!

Sunday was spent with who else. To tpy and amk and all the places I've been missing while in Mexico!

Monday with Jo & Mich to Orchard! Had fun snapping at some cafe at Rendezvous Hotel I forgot the name and watched Perks of a Wallflower. Either it was boring or I was suffering from jet lag cause I slept towards the end. First time I've ever slept in a movie. Joel came to pick all of us up and dropped us home and I went for supper with him. Yay thanks best bf!

Tuesday was with my sec 2 clique! Played at mind's cafe, dinnered and homed!

Spend Wed finally taking in the comforts of my home & Thurs with Joel again! For my belated birthday meal at Z'en! :D Whole day flew by again and Friday was with fam at Clementi. Fixed my hair and now its a shade of terrifying red. Oh god why. Shall see what I'll do to it. Ohwells. I was trying to darken it so it won't stand out so much actually.

Trying to make the most of the rest of my holidays now. Meeting Joel again tmr and hoping that my red hair won't be that much of an unpleasant surprise. HAHA okay bye kids. I'm getting tired again its the jet lag and my sorethroat I swear I'm usually not that weak. :D
