Finally.

Okay, updates!

The tec's module selection deadline is tomorrow and I have finally finally finally finally narrowed my courses to the top nine.

Obviously I don't have the luxury of even having 9 courses to take. I previously only had 2 (two TWO!!) business modules for mapping. Which means going on SEP is screwing up my entire uni schedule.

But after much bargaining (invaluable market skill), impatient email correspondences with Clarisse, Veronica and Jessica, and a beautiful miracle, I cam produce a list of 9 modules the Tec requires. And still proudly proclaim that I have 8 of them which are legitimately approved and mappable modules.

All my hard work and months of worry is furnished for show below:

And... I wanna draw your attention to number 5!

5) AG2004 Animal Health

See that! See that! I'm gonna map it as a gem!

I've always wanted to be a vet so badly. On hindsight, I'm regretting not applying for an AVA scholarship. Not like I had done well enough to get it but I could always try. And maybe beg and grovel at the interviewer's feet hahaha. Prolly bring Kibbs in to support me too.
Or maybe not. His horrid temper would have doused my chances.

Okay whatever it is, I'm finally blessed with a chance to have a module that teaches about freaking animals! It's really wondrous how God works his miracles. Who would have thought that me being in accountancy will have another go at animal studies again? Singapore's education system isn't liberal so most modules in NUS are very enriching, practical stuff. Nothing about animals or astrology.

So maybe I'll love it so much that I'll get an accounting job in the vet clinic.
Or maybe I'll hate it so much that I'll be content being an accountant.

Whatever happens, I'm just so so happy for this chance. Really. I was gleeing and bouncing up and down to my mom telling her that I'm gonna be a vet for 4 months.

And look at number 7!

It's actually Spanish communication skills. So at my time there, I'm also gonna pick up the 4th widely used language in the world!

Really really really grateful for this SEP opportunity. So I thought I shall share my happiness here. :)

Next up was my NBC last week. NBC stands for NUS Business Camp which is basically the new name for FOC.

My little kids are all from Mulan and they've been crowned the champion CG! I totally think that they deserved it because they're all so so sporting, doing all the stupid things the seniors made them do without hesitation. So cuteeeee! <3

And I was so sorry that on the third day while they were practicing for cheer fight in the afternoon, I sleeping in the LT in my sleeping bag cause I was just so tired. Hahaha. Had only 3 hours of sleep every night and running around like raccoons in the day. And hell we ran. Ran so much that we were the first CG to return during the Rat Race in Sentosa.

So happy that many of them are going for Rag dance. Will promise to pop by rag practice and help Stoh and raggers with the rag float sometime soon before I leave!

Meanwhile, for myself, I left for Jakarta the day after camp and am still in Jarkata now! Headed for home first thing tomorrow. Jakarta's really a beautiful place but I'm leaving that for the next blog entry.
This means I haven't had a good rest since day 1 of camp yet!

Super Val is still being super until she collapses on her bed tomorrow night.

Till then, people!
