MALACCA Heritage Trail, JUNE 14th-16th 2009
Day ONE, Friday
Drove over in the morning. MASSIVE, IRRATATING JAM at causeway.
Stop over.
Reached Malacca finally.
Didn't stay at the usual Mahkota hotel. Stayed at LISBON hotel instead.
It's situated at the more ulu part of Malacca, the Portugese Settlement.
Spent like ages searching for Lisbon Hotel. Hahaha!
The whole hotel only has like 2 storeys. And the balcony's ledge is damn low, overlooking the sea.
BUT, there's this roof so we wouldn't fall or something. XD
My new watch looks like a replica of the old, smashed one, doesn't it? XD
You can only find this is Msia. One of the best inventions. XD

Day THREE, Sunday.

Had the buffet breakfast on Sunday morning.

Pancakes needed maple syrup, right?

Well, I kinda took all the maple syrup left in the bowl, and guess what?

When sis and bro had their turn, they mistook another bowlful of thick syrup for maple syrup coz it looks like the refill or something.

Jonker Walk was my fave. It's like the place I look forward to in this trip. Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful goods to be sold. =)

YESTERDAY
Class outing at ECP.
Like 13 people turned up, and what a blast it was!
Thoroughly charred but insanely happy. XD
Walked over to Darren's house afterwards. My slipper gave way and I walked barefooted. XD
His dog is too cute! Golden retreiver, and super well trained, unlike FatKibbs. XD
Played table tennis, drums and basketball at the third level.
Hahaha I bet we made so much noise. XD
Bus-ed home in 67 afterwards.
Through Geylang, Newton Circle, Orchard, Bt Timah, then CCK.
It'll be like a 3 three hour trip if the bus didn't travel at breakneck speed. XD
Then there's sand all over me. Nails, toes, bags, pants... XD
