A thought just hit me a few weeks back. Being in Mexico, we haven't been able to get sim cards with broadband unless we sign up for a contract, which we didn't. So we have internet connection only with wifi, which was only available in three places: Home, School and Starbucks.
Most of the time when we were travelling, we had totally no access to the virtual world. And we're always wifi-hungry everywhere we went. Testing connections, begging hotels for wifi passwords, always greedy for that little bit of slow wifi we get along the way.
And now, I was amazed just how three months ago, I had the luxury of using internet on the go. Internet while on the bus, Internet while on the trains, Internet everywhere! One more month till I get my luxurious life back. Haha.
It's always what you lost that allows you to appreciate what you had.
