Darlings! How I yearn to be back in SG again... ^^

And I got Kibbs back! Redeemed him the moment we drove in Singapore.
Aww, he's not been eating. And drinking I suspect. He was elated when he first saw me. The owner told me he had cough in the morn and that he was fed the horrible medicine. Poor dear Kibbs. Anyway he's ok now.

=D

I went Malacca for four days and I'd say its been really really successful. This trip is totally worthwhile! And its been a long time since I'd such pure fun, where one could forget all her worries and simply enjoy. It might be just a small indigenous town where not much fun could be calculated, but we did have some serious family bonding. Hahaha!

Well, there's nothing to do other than TALK with each other for 4 days. Haha, and I even felt accomplished teaching my kid brother to swim, just like how Mom taught me to a few years back.

Many many piccies were taken to keep the memories, of us and the place of course. XD And though the food we had were more humble than the previous trips, its actually really delicious. And cheap! There was this Japanese restaurant which served Japanese food that were really up to standard! With great ebi tempuras and saba and niku sets. The sushis were honestly creative. Haha~

Didn't buy much in this trip. Heck, the 50 dollar my Mom gave me is still in one piece. I just can't find anything to buy! Haha~

Visited a couple of historical sites. Those that I couldn't appreciate when I was young. XD We toured the historical mini museum and were fascinated. Definitely, the history of Malacca is RICH...

Malacca was conquered by the Portugese, then the Dutch, and then the British, followed by the Japanese during the japanese occupation, and finally Malaysia.

So in every era, a bit of each culture was left tastefully. Peranakans originated from Malacca, and they are pure Chinese that speak only Malay. Their culture is totally different from Malays. I have some piccies which I'd get them up here some other times.

Ok, anyway, this trip was fabulous. And that wouldn't be true if not for my terrific family of five.
Thank God for blessing us all through this trip and blessing my Kibbs during his short stay at the boarding home.

I've got to catch my sleep now. More later!!!!!

PS: My phone lost touch with the outer world as soon as we stepped into Msia, which made me M.I.A for four days. Yay, life regained for my dear phonee!!!

EDIT::

Ayu goes global with "Dragonball" movie.

Ayumi Hamasaki has been chosen to provide the theme song for the Hollywood-produced live-action "Dragonball" movie.

All releases of the film worldwide will use her new rock tune "Rule," sung in Japanese.

Director James Wong, said to be a big fan of Hamasaki, extended her the offer.

It is rare for a song by a Japanese artist to be used in all international releases of a movie.

And for Hamasaki, this will also be her first time doing a song for a foreign film.

The movie is being released under the title "Dragonball Evolution" in Japan on March 13, ahead of the U.S. release in April.

The film is expected to be shown in more than 60 countries around the world.

From Ayu's blog, her thoughts on the song RULE:

"By the way, this song is SO high-tension, just singing it one time made me lose weight, I think. (lol)"

HAHAHA!

Wwow.

Go Ayu!

Anyway, Dragonball? I actually hated them in the past. Hahaha!

Also, congrats Ayu for being the highest selling female Japanese artiste for year 2008! Not even Koda/Namie/BoA can win her... XD
